so just wondering if there is an expected percentage? Like 15 percent at a restaurant? I usually go with the most I can afford. But sometimes I take into account other things. For instance. I was gonna have two tattoo done at once and my tattooer said 260. So I gave 100 deposit and after the first tattoo he decided to wait on the second. So we counted the 100 towards that tattoo and he only wanted 30. So I gave him 70. But the next tattoo which would have been 130 turned out really larger and more in indepth. So I gave him 90. On top of the 130.

So anyway. Just wondering if there is supposed to be a set amount?

1) i hate you because you have an iphone and im chiseling away with a stone and hammer (otherwise known as a blackberry)

2) i like to be a good tipper in every aspect of life, from restaurants to tattoos to hairstyling (i am a hairstylist, and people i gotta tell ya, anything under 20-30% is pretty much insulting) so i like to think that since hair is temporary and ink is forever, the tattoo should constitute that much more of a tip. i go at least 20, if not 30% cause thats what i would want. my first tattoo, i didnt know enough to tip at all, but now, 7 years in, half the time i dont get charged for my tattoos, so i try to tip 25 dollars for every hundred the tattoo costs. and i bring coke zeros, me n my tattooer and pretty much everyone i know are addicted.

tip what you want though, i think if you're happy it should be reflected in the tip.
